Arc Saga
My Name is Danial. I spend my whole life playing online games and I'm
currently the top player in the game called "Arc Saga". An MMORPG game
where you can choose more than 31 Classes and different types of races.
The game is played with the Body Reactor Kit (BRK), which interacts with
your real body and it has a system that enables communication with your
friend. I'm 21 years old, unemployed, a graduate student, and a
programmer. I Live by myself in an apartment and I don't need to worry
about money because I earn them through my participation in a tournament
that is held every year in a Convention Center. This year, the
tournament will be held at the same place. As a rank 1 player in the
game, I'm ready to win again in this tournament!
10am Saturday August 2015
I finally arrived at the Convention Center. As you can see there's a lot
of people here standing, ready to participate in the tournament. I
walked towards the sign up counter and it was really crowded there. "Hey
isn't that the winner of the last year's tournament"? "Yeah I bet! his
avatar is so freaking awesome!". Those were some of the conversations
that I heard from the crowds. But what they don't know, is that it takes
a lot of gameplay time to become a top rank player.
And so I signed up and got myself ready as I walked towards the computer
that I'm going to use. "I see, there's a lot of new faces here and a
lot of High Ranked players also, interesting. I think they're all pissed
off at me and decided to defeat me today, eh?". I sat down when I
arrived at my computer. I then logged in, loaded my avatar and went
straight to the game arena.
"OK Everyone! Are You Ready For The Tournament!!?" Everyone Shouted
"Yeah!!." "I am ready!" I whispered." "OK! Wear Your Body Reactor Now
and Click Ready on the game and we will start the Death match!!"
*Clicked Ready* "Good Bye...PLAYERS!!" the announcer said. Everyone were
shocked and suddenly our Body Reactor blanked out and I fell into a
deep sleep.....
"What..did j-just happen...to m-me...?". I woke up and saw a lot of
people
that are still unconscious. I quickly realized that we are all in the
game. After a couple minutes. Everyone woke up, some are
confused, but some already knew what happened and realized it, just like
me.
"Welcome People!! To the ARC SAGA!!! Today I want you all to form your
own teams and defeat me on the lowest part of the dungeon. The person
who defeats me will have a chance to get a rare weapon on your account
and you all can log out from this game! But..if your HP reaches
zero.....YOU WILL DIE!!". "I was very terrified when he said that. Some
others already had a trauma because of it. But I managed to calm myself
down and decided that I will complete the game. I know that I might get
killed in the dungeon, but I won't give up"
Dungeon Floor 50[Lowest Part Of The Dungeon] February 2016
After several months, about 700 out of 1000 players has passed away.
That means, there's roughly a little less than 300 players remained
alive. I chose a DPS Class Twin Blader, and a Speed Type form. My level
is 70,which is the maximum level that you could achieve in this game.
There are several party members who has reached that level other than
me. We all prepared our potion, charged our skill gauge and
teleported at the final floor of the lowest part of the dungeon.After charged
we teleport toward the Final Floor of the lowest part of the Dungeon.
It was a very hot place and I realized that the heat was lowering our
HP. I immediately told the others about it and we all rushed at the boss
room on the Final Floor. After we arrived. We lost 10% of our HP. "Damn
that creator...this place is Maniac...it can lower our hp..dammit."
*Clap Clap Clap* "Welcome..Warriors... You are the 10 people that has
the highest level and damage in this virtual game..Good job...and
now...PREPARE TO DIE!!".
We are not the first ones to get here. 40% of the people met their end
at this place. They disappeared from this world. I dont know what
happens out there, in the real world. I heard some rumors that we all
have been quarantine and the police cant do anything about it..."We Wont
die!! we will stop you..Reaper!" I looked towards his HP and level. I
was SHOCKED, it was *Lv 100* *HP 100,000*. I thought to myself, we cant
win this. We're only just level 70 we only have half of his HP even
though there are 10 of us. He must have some special power that wiped
out the others that fought him before. But as a speeder. I had to find
his weak spot, at least one.
"Attack!!". We all rush towards the boss. It was chaotic. A party member
of mines put on his final form and blasted the boss with his Twin Dark
Pulser that should hit 20k each hit, but it just hit 5k to the Reaper.
It was a shock for my member. The other member rushed and melee'd
towards the reaper that just hit 1k on every hit. We already thought
that there's no hope for us. "It's my turn to counterattack weaklings
like you guys!!" "Oh no..!! He's going to attack. I have a bad feeling
about this." *Slash*, he swung his scythe towards the 5 people that's
unaware about it.They disappeared in an instant. "Urrghh!!!!", I was
shock about what happen. There's only 5 of us left. "I don't want to die
yet", but then I realized. "If he can kill us. Why did he stop
attacking us after one hit..?" So I realized. "He was charging his
attack after he attacked!." I finally realize when he attack us several
times before this. "Ok guys now use all of your might and attack him!!"
We all rushed and landed a massive blow onto the reaper and he almost
died!. After that we all use our final technique and defeated the
Reaper..! "Yay we finally defeated the reaper!!"
*Death Slash* we all heard that voice and suddenly a massive slash
speeding toward us, and it hit the other 3 members. Only me and this
girl are left. "Huh...why this is happening..?" *Cry* the girl cried. So
I patted her head. "We finally won this, so let get out of
here...together..ok?" I smiled towards the girl. Her name is Mayu. After
that we took the ORB that was dropped by the boss, and a rare weapon
popped up in my inventory and the log out button appeared also The orb
disappeared and i obtained a speaker from it. 'Huh a speaker..?"
"I Think we can use that to announce to the people that we all can
already log out!!" "Yeah, I think that's a great idea!" After that we
all managed to log out and wake up on the same place, where we were left
out. We all walked out of the convention center and there's a lot of
people, army, police. They were all waiting and greeted us with a smile
"You guys managed to survive!!" "My Son!!! You're Alive!!" The ones who
died in the game were never found. After that, I learned my lesson to
never play a virtual type game and instead play a normal video game.
After several years have passed. I met with the same girl *Mayu* and finally we live together.
